Jr. High Camp and Sr. High Camp are both held in early to mid-June. Campers get to participate in challenging competitions, spiritual growth exercises, and encouraging discussion times with their cabin groups. There is also plenty of free time for swimming, frisbee golf, hiking, and all the other activities that Camp Quaker Haven has to offer. Quaker Haven is located just south of Arkansas City, KS. This year’s dates for camp are: Sr. High - June 6-10 and Jr. High - June 10-14. The registration fee is $190, with $50 in scholarship funds available from NFC. This annual conference is sponsored by EFC-MAYM Youth Ministries. FSC 2007 will be at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita from Dec. 28, 2007-Jan. 1, 2008. The conference features challenging speakers, inspiring worship, interesting workshops, and lots of fun activities. It gives our youth a chance to interact with youth from other Friends churches in our region, establishing friendships that last for years. The Quiz Program gives students the opportunity to study and memorize God’s Word, travel to quiz tournaments throughout our region, compete with teams from other Friends churches, and have a blast in the process. The quiz season is from January through April, and our coach is Linda Stratton, assisted by Flo Harvey. This is the most fun you can have in Jr. High Youth! Return to top.
At least once a year, usually in the fall, the Jr. High Youth Group goes on a weekend retreat together. This is a great time for spiritual reflection, good fellowship and lots of fun together! Return to top.

9th — 12th graders meet every Wednesday night at 7:00. Youth Pastor Jesse Penna, along with Adult Sponsors Stacy & Denise Lacy, and Debby McElroy give challenging lessons. Students take leadership of our worship together, and there are fun activities too! Return to top.
Through tiny, united, student support groups and adult mentor relationships we will work together at building our spiritual habits to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ. Spring Invasion, a short-term missions program sponsored by EFC-MAYM in cooperation with Coahuila, Mexico Friends Churches, has been hosting Friends Church Sr. High student missions teams in Mexico since 1993. Spring Invasion allows students to serve the foreign mission field for one-week over Spring Break, experiencing ministry in a cross-cultural community and observing God’s action in the context of Coahuila, Mexico Friends Churches. Operation Saltshaker is designed to provide EFC-MAYM Sr. High and older students an opportunity to explore and experience life on the Friends mission field –– while serving and encouraging missionaries and the church and community. Christian students who have a desire to serve cross-cultural missions and who are actively maturing as Disciples of Christ should apply for Operation Saltshaker!
