This group is for people who are caught in that “gap” between Sr. High Youth Group and the Adult Groups at Northridge. That place where you feel like you have nowhere to go, and no place you really fit. We are gathering this summer for several parties & events for 3 reasons: 1. Food 2. Fellowship 3. Fun. Our summer will include informal conversations together as we look toward starting something NEW in the fall that is specifically geared to young adults. You can find details about our parties & events on our Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=120948457939302 Return to top.
Our theme for Summer 2010 is “Bridge the Gap.” We will be learning how to reach out to others with Jesus’ love - especially those who are elderly, sick or just are in need of a special visit. We will have teachings on Wednesday nights (June 23, 30, July 7, 14, 21, 18, August 4) starting with dinner together at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 9:00. We will also have some special days of teaching & visiting people with some of our pastors. Some of our lessons will be focused on etiquette and blessing others by how we act & behave in public settings. This will all end with a formal Celebration Dinner on Sat., August 7. Check your summer calendars for more details! Return to top.
